Answer: Back-up
Feedback:
Reverse and shove movements require visual protection in order to be performed. If the conductor has to provide visual protection for these moves, how can the conductor ever get back on the head end? A back-up move requires no visual protection from the train crew and would be the most efficient movement to make to get the conductor on the head end.
